About OWLS

What do we do?

At OWLS we work to reduce loneliness and social isolation for seniors living in Burley, Hyde Park, Little Woodhouse, Headingley and Kirkstall. We help them to stay healthy and independent and enjoy life to the fullest.

Whether it’s arranging social events, helping people meet each other, assisting with the weekly shop or just a voice at the other end of the phone - we’re here to help.

Where do we operate?

Currently we work within Headingley, Burley, Hyde Park, Little Woodhouse and Kirkstall.

Take a look at the map which shows the boundary from which we can accept members.

Meet the staff team

Nothing we do could be achievable without the care and dedication of our committed team.

Find out more about the people that make it all possible.

It’s just a voice on the telephone, but it’s a voice of warmth and comfort.
